I'm Serena and I currently teach English Language Arts (including ESL) online to students ages 3-99. I have taught English both online and abroad (in Guatemala) for 7 years total. I have enjoyed teaching more than 450 students! I teach both adults and kids and I would love the opportunity to tutor you!

In addition to English, I have a professional degree in Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, and a strong background in medical terminology. This may be helpful if you are pursuing a medical career. I also tutor students in grades 4-12 to assist them in mastering Social Studies and Science.

I have worked with very young children as well as teenagers and adults. I tailor the content and techniques I use in my lessons especially for you to keep our time together interesting and engaging. I take a very friendly and relaxed approach with my students so they can gain confidence in interacting with me online.
