Chabot College is one of many colleges that provide students with the opportunity to take college courses while still being in high school.
Why should you take advantage of this?
You could earn college credit and helps boost high school GPA!
It is cheap! Enrollment fees are waived for IDE students except for international and out-of state students.
Student Health fee is mandatory.
Summer term is $18.
Fall/Spring term are $21.
Note: Tuition for international, out-of-state, and some nonresident students is $360/unit. You can qualify for an exemption (including undocumented students) who meet eligibility requirements from out-of-state tuition fees.
Credits that you received may be transferable to 4-year universities (Note: This may vary from courses and university of transfer).
A great tool you can use is ASSIST.ORG to see what course transfer to the university of your choice.
Recommendation: Try not to take a college class that's equivalent to the AP exam you took/ are taking. Here is the list of equivalent course in Chabot for all AP exams: Spreadsheet. If you want to find out the equivalent courses for other colleges/universities, you could go to College Board's AP Credit Policy Search.

PIQ's for UC's
A UC PIQ, or Personal Insight Question, is part of the University of California application. Applicants choose and answer four out of eight questions, each with a 350-word limit. The PIQs help students share their personality, background, interests, and achievements to show what makes them unique.
