International Mobilization and Preparation for ACTion

The International Mobilization and Preparation for ACTion course has been designed to prepare Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) staff for their work in an international context.
The course focuses on the role of a delegate working with a host National Society and other RCRC Movement partners and provides increased knowledge of the different contexts in which the components of the Movement work, the tools available to respond to the different situations, and further introduces people to the values and Fundamental Principles of the Movement.
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Understand the relationship between the Federation, the NS, ICRC and other international partners and donors
Be familiar with the strategic directions of the components of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and its respective work
Be well prepared for the challenges of his/her first Red Cross and Red Crescent international mission.
The IMPACT pre-requisite online modules are available on your dedicated IMPACT 2024 cohort. You have been added to the cohort on the IFRC Learning Platform where the pre-requisites are available under the learning tab. If you haven't already, we encourage you to create an account on the IFRC Learning Platform preferably using your Red Cross/IFRC email address.
Please also bring your working laptop and phone to the training venue for use during the training activities and to complete any pending online modules.
