There is a very specific order to how I choose the books I review in the IMO Books podcast. First, I find 3 books that fit together in a category (i.e. a series, a single author, a genre). I read those books and use them in the first three episodes of one of my four episode seasons. For the fourth episode, I ask my listeners to choose a book within the category I've been reviewing. Whichever book the majority of my listeners recommend, I use as my fourth episode of the season.
The fifth and final episode of the season is known as a "RAD" episode. RAD stands for recommendation, author, debate, and each RAD episode contains these segments. I conclude the season by recommending other books under the topic of the season, going into more depth about the author, and host a debate regarding one or more of the books in the season.
