The goal of ASUO's Immigration Toolkit is to provide University of Oregon students with clear, consolidated, and accessible information about the resources available to them. We want every student to understand their rights on and off campus and to feel empowered to seek the support they need. Although this is not an exhaustive list, it provides a solid foundation for students. This toolkit is a living resource, and new sections and supports will be added regularly as policies continue to change. ASUO is committed to responding to students' needs, and this toolkit is living proof. Contact asuoadvocacy05@uoregon.edu if you have any resources or sections you think should be included.
Understanding and discussing Immigration can place a strain on the mental health of students. This is not a complete list of resources, but it can aid students in getting started. Please reach out to Hotlines to receive immediate help if needed.
The University of Oregon has a student-specific list of resources, including Executive updates, travel guidance, legal services, Immigration enforcement resources, Dreamer & Immigrant support resources, as well as student order and regulation event information. This resource will best help students understand the University of Oregon's positioning.
