Leading a Bible study is more than simply reading Scripture together—it’s about sparking life-changing conversations and helping others grow in faith. The aim is not only to share biblical knowledge but also to foster meaningful discussions that lead to reflection, action, and transformation. Bible studies are best when they are collaborative and discussion-driven, rather than one-sided lectures. While moments of teaching or explanation may arise, the goal is to create an interactive space where everyone can ask questions, share insights, and explore God’s Word together.
Scripture-based: Focused on studying books of the Bible verse by verse and in depth—for instance, exploring historical context and, when needed, drawing on the original Hebrew or Greek to clarify nuances that may be less clear in English translations.
Discussion-driven: Fosters open dialogue to deepen understanding and inspire personal transformation. Everyone will have the chance to facilitate the discussion and is encouraged to share their insights. The format is interactive—never a lecture or sermon.
Discipleship-focused: Aims to cultivate the mindset and skills needed to grow as faithful followers of Jesus and to serve effectively. The ultimate goal is that participants will be equipped to start their own Bible study groups in the future and serve Christ wherever they go.
Application-oriented: Emphasizes living out biblical principles in daily life.
