The project's main objective is the development of a 5D IMINT dispatch center to provide information support tailored to the current security context of the Black Sea region, with the aim of enhancing the capacity to identify, assess, and prevent security risks in the area, focusing on maritime threats.
The specific objectives of the project are :
(O1) identifying the main types of risk associated with the maritime border in the vicinity of conflict zones;
(O2) characterizing the types of risk specific to maritime conflict zones;
(O3) evaluating the capability of observation systems—relative to current satellite and in-situ observation systems—to detect, measure, and characterize the associated phenomena;
(O4) providing information support for the planning and execution of operations to eliminate risks or mitigate potential effects;
(O5) selecting the geospatial intelligence resources and methods best suited to the established requirements;
(O6) demonstrating and validating the selected concepts, methods, and resources through case studies.
