Bo Burnham: Inside

Description: A multi-award-winning musical "comedy" special written, directed, shot, and edited entirely by comedian Bo Burnham during the pandemic lockdown. An exploration of trying to be an audience-facing performer when there's suddenly no audience, it's also about Burnham's own relationship with his body of work (as a teenager who hit sudden fame at the very start of Youtube) and what it means that we've allowed the internet and social media to turn our interactions with one another into performances. Perfect for anyone interested in performativity, lockdown art, affordances and practical constraints, lighting design, and existential comedy. (And will there be at least one person singing quietly along? Probably.)
