SteadyCraft Studio built Image Compressor as an image compression and conversion app.

This Privacy Policy explains how Image Compressor handles information when you use the app.

1. Overview

Image Compressor is designed to process images locally on your device. You can use the app to compress images, convert image formats, process batches, save outputs, and create ZIP files.

The app does not require you to create an account or sign in.

2. Image Processing

Images selected by you are processed locally on your device.

Image Compressor does not upload your selected images to SteadyCraft Studio servers. We do not operate a backend server for storing or processing your images.

Processed images, converted images, and ZIP files are saved on your device according to the output options you choose.

3. Information We Collect

Image Compressor itself does not collect your personal images, files, name, email address, contacts, precise location, or account information.

However, the app may use third-party services for app stability, analytics, advertising, and purchases. These services may collect limited technical, diagnostic, usage, advertising, and purchase-related information as described below.

4. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

Image Compressor may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google.

These services may collect information such as:

- app usage events

- crash reports

- app version

- device model

- operating system version

- diagnostic information

- Firebase installation identifiers

This information is used to understand app performance, detect crashes, fix bugs, and improve the user experience.

5. Advertising

Image Compressor may display Google AdMob rewarded advertisements.

Free users may choose to watch up to three rewarded ads per day to temporarily unlock the Batch Process feature. Watching a rewarded ad is optional and allows the selected batch operation to be performed. Premium users are not shown these rewarded ads for this feature.

Google AdMob may collect and use information such as:

• advertising identifiers

• approximate device information

• ad views and interactions

• diagnostic data

This information may be used to serve and measure advertisements, prevent fraud, improve advertising services, and provide rewarded ad functionality.

6. In-App Purchases

Image Compressor may offer a one-time premium purchase through Google Play Billing.

Purchases and payments are handled by Google Play. Image Compressor does not collect, process, or store your card number or payment details.

The app may check your purchase status through Google Play to unlock premium features and restore purchases.

7. Permissions

Image Compressor may request access to photos, images, or media files so you can select images for compression or conversion.

The app uses this access only to process the images you choose.

Image Compressor may also request notification permission. Notification permission is used to display foreground service notifications and processing progress for long-running image compression, conversion, and batch operations, especially when the app is running in the background.

8. Output Files

The app may save processed images or ZIP files to your device storage, gallery, or a folder selected by you.

If you choose advanced output options such as custom folders, file naming, ZIP output, metadata preservation, or replacing existing output files, the app uses those choices only to create and save your processed output.

9. Metadata

Some images may contain metadata such as date, camera model, image technical details, or other file information.

If metadata preservation is enabled, the app may attempt to copy supported metadata to the processed output when possible. Metadata preservation may depend on the selected output format and device support.

10. Data Retention

Image Compressor does not store your images on developer-operated servers.

Analytics, crash reports, advertising data, and purchase-related data collected by third-party providers may be retained according to the policies of those providers.

11. Data Deletion

Image Compressor does not maintain user accounts and does not store user images on developer-operated servers. Therefore, there is generally no user account data or uploaded image data maintained by SteadyCraft Studio that requires deletion.

Any data processed by third-party services is managed according to the policies and tools provided by those service providers.

12. Data Sharing

SteadyCraft Studio does not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed by third-party services used in the app, including:

- Google Firebase

- Google AdMob

- Google Play Billing

These third-party services handle data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

13. International Data Transfers

Third-party services used by the app may process data on servers located in different countries. Such processing is governed by the privacy practices of the respective service providers.

14. Children’s Privacy

Image Compressor is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Data Security

Because image processing is performed locally on your device, your selected images are not sent to SteadyCraft Studio servers.

For third-party services, data handling and security are managed by the relevant service providers.

16. Your Choices

You can control app permissions through your device settings.

You may remove photo/media access or notification permission at any time. Some app features may not work correctly if required permissions are disabled.

You may also manage ad personalization and Google Play purchase settings through your Google account and device settings.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
