How convenient it would be to be able to launch iMessage on Windows-based devices. Is the app available to download anywhere, as some websites promise?
First of all: there is no official way to use iMessage PC via app or browser online – at least one iMessage version for Windows without jailbreak is not offered. If you come across this app, which promises to be able to use the Instant Messager on devices running windows operating system, it is usually even dangerous malware. Be careful when downloading a so-called iMessage Windows Client and at best look away from this option. But there is a way to chat with the popular client even away from the iOS devices.
To use iMessage on Windows, you first need to jailbreak your Apple device. Jailbreak is common if you want to install applications that Apple's App Store doesn't offer. It makes it possible to obtain apps and themes from the alternative provider Cydia.
After the jailbreak, you can download and install the Remote Messages application from Cydia. Remote Messages is a browser-based front-end application for the iOS Messages application. To use iMessages on Windows, all you need to do is:
Opens Cydia and searches for remote messages. You will find versions for iOS 8 and iOS 9. Select scan and install the variant that is suitable for your system.
Navigates to Settings after installation, then to Remote Messages. Creates a username and password.
The iOS device and The Windows computer should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Your iOS model displays an IP address and a server port in the Remote Messages section. You must enter this data in the address field of your computer browser separated by a colon.
Example: IP address: 103.98.232.124 and server port: 1025
-> Entry into the browser: 103.98.232.124:1025
Now enter your username and password.
The settings should now be complete. You can put your iOS device into hibernation and use iMessages with your Windows computer.
