Privacy Policy — IMEI Genius

IMEI Genius (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the IMEI Genius mobile application (the “App”).

If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1. What Information We Collect
   
   

A) Information you provide (only if you choose to)

• Support messages: If you contact us, we may receive the information you send (such as your email address and message content).
  
  

B) Information we do not collect automatically
IMEI Genius does not automatically collect or log:

• device information (model, OS version, language, app version),
  
  

• app usage/activity (screens viewed, features used, session duration),
  
  

• crash logs,
  
  

• approximate or precise location (including location derived from IP).
  
  

C) IMEI and other identifiers you enter
IMEI Genius may allow you to enter or paste an IMEI (or similar identifiers) to use app features. This information is processed on your device to perform the action you requested. We do not upload, store, or share your IMEI on our servers.

2. Third-Party Services (Ads & Payments)
   
   

IMEI Genius may use third-party services depending on which features you enable:

A) Advertising (Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads)
If the App displays ads, Google AdMob may collect information needed to serve and measure ads. We do not control how AdMob processes data, and it is governed by Google’s policies.

B) Subscriptions / Purchases (Google Play Billing)

• Payments are processed by Google Play.
  
  

• We do not collect or store your full payment details.
  
  

• We may receive purchase status (e.g., whether you are subscribed) so the App can unlock Pro features.
  
  

3. How We Use Information
   We use information only to:
   
   

• respond to support requests,
  
  

• unlock and manage Pro features (based on purchase status from Google Play),
  
  

• show ads (only if ads are enabled and you are not Pro).
  
  

4. Sharing of Information
   We do not sell your personal information.
   
   

We may share information only:

• with service providers you use through the App (e.g., Google Play Billing, AdMob), only as necessary for those services to work; or
  
  

• if required by law (legal requests, fraud prevention, protection of rights/safety).
  
  

5. Data Retention
   
   

• Support messages (if you contact us) may be retained as long as needed to resolve your request.
  
  

• Subscription status may be checked periodically to keep Pro access accurate.
  
  

• We do not retain IMEI numbers because we do not collect them on our servers.
  
  

6. Security
   We take reasonable steps to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
   
   

7. Your Choices
   You can:
   
   

• manage or cancel subscriptions in Google Play (Subscriptions section),
  
  

• limit ad personalization in your Google/Android ad settings (if ads are enabled),
  
  

• uninstall the App at any time.
  
  

8. Children’s Privacy
   IMEI Genius is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
   
   

9. Changes to This Policy
   We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective date above when changes are made.
