(IPPOG) organizes special Hands-on Particle
Physics Masterclasses on this day for girls.
On 11th Feb, 2021 we, the Experimental High Energy
Physics Group of Department of Physics at
University of Jammu, are organizing “Hands on
Particle Physics Masterclasses @ JU”.
Because of extraordinary conditions prevailing
due to pandemic, the event has been planned in
the online mode and will be organized using
Zoom App.
The International Particle Physics Outreach Group (IPPOG) is a network of scientists, science educators and communication specialists working across the globe in informal science education and outreach for particle physics
International Masterclasses are launching Masterclass activities on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Institutes are encouraged to arrange a special Masterclass event for girls only. With this event we plan to support and promote the access of women and girls to science education and research activities.
