The IMA Prize for the Best Paper was awarded jointly to Amber Bannister and Molly Barker. The papers by Isabel Colorado and Paul Lezeau were highly commended. Also shortlisted were Hernan Ibarra Mejia, Hrishikesh Mukundan, Marta Sartori and Besfort Shala.
The popular vote prize was awarded jointly to Veronica Bitonti, Mark Pencovitch and Amarjit Singh Gaba.

If you wish your presentation to be considered for this award you must submit an abstract in the usual way, and also write a short summary of your talk which explains in no more than 500 words how your presentation meets some or all of the following criteria. It is not required that successful applications will address every criterion. Applications should be sent to us at tmt@gre.ac.uk by 1pm on Friday 14 January 2022.Criteria:1. Evidence of an excellent understanding of the mathematics involved in the problem proposed.2. Evidence of collaboration and team work either with your peers, with your tutors or with outside contacts.3. An understanding of current research in the area examined and an indication of further research that could be undertaken.4. An innovative approach to a standard problem.All applications for the award will be considered, the best submissions will be shortlisted and the presentations will be judged on the day. Short-listed candidates will be notified in advance of the conference.
