B.A. Theatre Production & Design and Performance 

Imari Pyles is an emerging designer based in the Baltimore/ Washington area with momentum growing in New York City. Her studies as a double major in theatre performance and production has given her the advantage of designing with heightened character analysis skills as well as a thorough understanding of an actor's/ model's needs. In the year and a half since graduating she has designed 8 productions (stage and film) and has assisted in the styling/ posing of several photoshoots. She has always loved the language of clothing and the power it has to tell our stories without words. Through use of bold colors, textures, and lines she strives to visually communicate the stories of people like herself who have been underrepresented and overlooked by the eyes of the world. She is excited to be a part of the growing social movement that is giving voices to not only to women and people of color, but to all groups that have had their voices silenced for far too long. Through her work she WILL open doors that were previously closed and rewrite the narrative of what beauty Is.
