to the Best PhD Student Presentation at the IMAME'2025
Objective
Delfim F. M. Torres Award to the Best PhD Student Presentation at the "International Meeting on Applied Mathematics" (IMAME) aims to distinguish the best presentation given by a PhD student at the conference and that stands out for the originality of the presented work, mathematical rigor, and the quality of the presentation.
Requirements
Only presentations given by PhD Students that are registered at the conference as a Student with a Contributed talk are eligible for the prize. The prize beneficiaries are the authors of the presentation.
Jury
Co-authors and supervisors of the works cannot be part of the jury. The jury is appointed by suggestion of the Chair and Co-Chair of the Scientific Committee of IMAME'2025 and consists of three members:
One member of the Scientific Committee;
One member of the Local Organizing Committee;
One member of the International Organizing Committee.
Award
The announcement of the award and its attribution takes place during the Closing Ceremony of IMAME'2025. The winner receives a certificate confirming the award attribution and a monetary prize, which are given to the student of the awarded presentation who is present at the Closing Ceremony.
The monetary value of the prize is given by Professor Delfim F. M. Torres in Euro and corresponds to the value of the highest Foreign Student Registration Fee of IMAME'2025.
