This is my favorite song off of the album Divinity in Disguise. I love this song because to my ear it sounds raw and it sounds honest, this song is about the a relationship a friend was in witch was a while ago now. Pretty much this song is someone starting to realize things are going downhill and grasping on to the idea that something they did has caused there partner to grow hatred agents them. the line "seems lately you hate me i dont know why you want me gone" is them looking around and going, you know what? i think i finally figured out what it is that will make you feel content, you want me gone. this song talks about change and uncertainty because thats how they felt in the moment. So yeah...its basically the opposite of a love song but its not a breakup song either
