Mentor Information

Reilly Fagan

My name is Reilly Fagan and I am a junior in Chemical Engineering with a focus in energy and environment. I am an undergraduate research intern in the McGehee lab and my work currently includes studying different concentrations in making hydrogels with optimal optics, and electrochromic dynamic windows. In my free time I love snowboarding, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and gardening! I transferred here as a sophomore from Purdue where I was a Chemistry major, so I know a lot about being in a new place and hard new major.

Helena Ferrier

Hello there. I'm Helena. I'm a nontraditional student (32) in my junior year in the biological and chemical engineering program. I use disability services as I am not neurotypical. I go to school part time to balance self care and motherhood. Feel free to reach out about balancing your life while in engineering school! In my spare time I enjoy all the typical outdoor activities, racquetball, deep conversations, board games with friends, plants/gardening, and arts and crafts. My dream is to work with a biotech company for my career and have a hobby farm and foster kids on my own time.

Katie Lane

Hey y’all! I’m Katie. I’m studying civil engineering and absolutely loving it and I’m interested in going into heavy civil. I’m also the VP for Assistive Tech Buffs which I helped start last year-if you want to know more about that just let me know! I’m also involved with delta delta delta on campus and love skiing, hiking, and crafting in my free time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out about anything, hope to see you at our events!

Liam Nestelroad

My name is Liam and I am a junior in Computer Science and Applied Math. I am also currently an intern over at LASP as a software developer where I am working on server end communications and message queues. In my free time, I enjoy playing both the piano and guitar (even though I am terrible at both), working on personal projects, and cooking. Hit me up on slack or by email if you ever need help with code, math, or just need general advice. If I don’t have the answers, odds are I’ll know someone who does.

Jenny Quigley

My name is Jenny Quigley and I am currently a junior studying chemical engineering with a concentration in materials and a minor in business. It is great to be able to attend CU and continue enjoying everything I love like skiing, hiking, and so many sunny days. However, when the weather isn't so great I like to spend my time learning about graphic design.

Kim Bower

My name is Kim, I am a junior studying civil engineering and have been with ImagineCU since its conception.
