Can art-making inspire action?

What if there was a way to build empathy, define the future, and actively engage with social issues all at once? What if, by making art, we could actually make change? That is the goal of this project--to use art-making as a vector to propel social change in some of the most important social issues of our time.

The scope of this project goes far beyond art-making and societal problems, delving into design facilitation, futures studies, and participatory action research. On this site you will find a case study documenting the creation and application of a toolkit designed to navigate you through the facilitation and planning of a socially-driven art-making session.
