These policies and procedures will be kept current and used to govern the operations of this facility. These policies become effective upon acceptance by the parent/guardian and the program.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All necessary enrollment forms must be completed and returned prior to admission. It is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to ensure all forms are updated immediately upon changes. Upon arrival at the facility, the parent/guardian, or adult dropping off the child, must escort the child in and out of the facility, sign the child in and out, and ensure that staff are aware of the child’s presence. To ensure safety only those on the enrollment form with authorization to check out a child will be allowed. Valid ID required and written permission in person from parent or guardian is required if a person is not on the enrollment form.

PROGRAM FEES
FEES ARE $135 PER WEEK OR $80 afterschool care
An enrollment fee of $100 is expected at time of enrollment to ensure a spot that is applied to the last week of enrollment. Payments will be due upon registration. Payments will be accepted by cash, credit/debit card or check, venmo and cash ap. Returned check fee is $35 and will result in cash only payments.
Payments are due by Monday morning at drop-off. Montly payments are due the 1st Monday of each month at dropoff. This payment is for the upcoming week. No care will be provided if payments are not made for the week. After 2 weeks of nonpayment your spot is forfeited. Payments are expected even when absent. You are paying for a spot not for the days your child attends.
Multiple child discount of $25.00 per child
Late fees for not picking child up on time will be $20 per day added to next week's bill.
Parents are expected to provide diapers and wipes. Diapers will be charged on a schedule and as needed. If your child runs out of diapers a $5 per diaper charge will be added to your bill.
HOURS
Our posted hours are 7:30-5:30. Emergencies arise and cannot be helped but habitual tardiness can result in termination.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 -9:00. If a child arrives after 9:00 please make sure they had breakfast before arrival. Breakfast will not be served after 9:00 am.
MEALS
We offer breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks. Meals are planned according to USDA guidelines and requirements. If your child has a food allergy an alternate meal will be provided. If you choose to send a lunch each day it must follow USDA guidelines and fast food of any kind is not allowed.
We welcome birthday celebrations but will only be allowed during our afternoon snack time and limited to 30 minutes. Cupcakes and juice boxes are preferred. Please do not send candy of any kind due to allergies. If you're planning a birthday celebration, please give 24 notice. Please limit guests to 2 people for celebrations.
DISCIPLINE
At no time will a child be subjected to physical punishment or will shaming, frightening, or humiliating methods be used, or any type of verbal abuse, threats, derogatory remarks, or deprivation of a meal or any part of a meal be used. No person, including, but not limited to, parents, guardians, or other family members may use such methods of discipline while on the premises. The facility will utilize re-direction and discussion as a method of discipline with children. The health and safety of each and every child is important. Chronic ongoing misbehavior will not be tolerated and will result in termination. At no time will students hit, kick, bite, verbally assault, bully or use profanity towards another student or adult. Parents will not verbally assault the staff or any child in the facility. Using profanity or threatening the staff is not acceptable and will result in being trespassed and or criminal charges. If at any time there are concerns about a student's safety please contact the daycare provider so the concerns can be addressed.
1st incident- verbal notification and or written
2nd incident- phone call and written notification with a copy of contract regarding termination
3rd incident - termination.
Social media can be helpful as well as harmful when it is not used appropriately. Inappropriate post or using social media to verbally assault, bully, accuse or harass will result in termination and or criminal charges. Please address any concerns, suggestions, or complaints with a staff member.
No weapons of any kind are allowed at any time.
No toy weapons of any kind are allowed. Smoking in or around the facility is not allowed.
Illicit drugs and alcohol are not allowed and anyone in possession will be terminated.
Parents must have the correct safety seats when picking up. All children are required to be fastened in a safety seat. If your not familiar with the law please ask and a copy will be provided.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE
In the event of an emergency with your child, first aid will be applied, parents/guardians will be called, and if necessary, the child will be transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital. The hospital used by this facility is Crisp Regional Hospital.
SICK / INJURED CHILDREN
Parents/guardians of any child who becomes ill or is injured while in care of the facility will be notified immediately by phone of any illness or injury requiring professional medical attention, or any illness/injury which may not require professional medical attention, but which produces symptoms causing moderate discomfort to the child. A child shall not be accepted nor allowed to remain at the facility if the child has the equivalent of one hundred and one (101) degrees or higher oral temperature and another contagious symptom, such as, but not limited to, a rash or diarrhea, or a sore throat. If your child becomes ill while at the facility, he/she will be removed from the daily activity and will be provided necessary treatment until the parent/guardian or authorized person arrives. Once notified, parents/guardians should ensure that their child is picked up from the facility within the hour. Children will not be permitted back into the facility until he/she has been “symptom-free” for a period of twenty-four (24) hours. If a child is diagnosed with a communicable disease, they will not be permitted to return to the program until cleared by their doctor. This facility will follow the protocol listed on the communicable disease chart for reporting the disease to the local Health Department. If other children in the facility have been exposed to a communicable disease at any time while in the program, a written notice will be posted at the front entrance and on the classroom door.
If a child receives a minor injury, not requiring professional medical attention while in the care of the facility, first aid will be applied; and parents/guardians will be notified when they arrive to pick the child up from the facility.
If a child receives a moderate to severe injury while in the care of the facility, first aid will be applied; an accident report will be filed; and the parents/guardians notified by phone of the injury.
If the injury requires immediate professional medical attention, 911, in addition to the parent/guardian, will be notified.
