Image To Text with Translate ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy
Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application available on Android and iOS.
Data Collection & Processing
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. All core processing happens entirely on
your device:
- Images you capture or select are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
- Text extraction is performed on-device and is not sent to any third party.
- Translations are performed on-device. No text is sent to external services.
- History is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time from Settings.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Image To Text with Translate does NOT collect or access:
- Your contacts, call logs, or messages
- Your location from GPS
- Background data without your knowledge
- Any personal information whatsoever
Advertising
The App displays advertisements to support free access. Our ad partners may collect and use certain data to serve
relevant ads, including:
- Device identifiers
- IP address (for approximate location)
- Usage data and ad interaction data
You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. You may also subscribe to our premium plan to
remove all advertisements from the App.
Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Camera: To capture images for text extraction. Used only when you explicitly choose to take a photo.
- Storage / Photos: To select images from your device gallery.
- Internet: To download translation language packs and serve advertisements.
Data Storage & Deletion
All app data (history, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. You can delete all stored data
at any time through the Settings screen. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated "Last
updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
We respect your privacy and do not collect any data beyond what your device stores locally for the app to function.
