App: ImageShrinker JPG
Package: com.alpa.imageshrinker
Last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy describes how ImageShrinker JPG (“the app”) handles information when you use it on your Android device. The app is published by its developer (“we”, “us”). We do not operate online accounts for the app and we do not run our own servers to receive your photos.
Summary
Images are compressed on your device.
We do not collect your photos on our servers.
The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
The app does not request the Internet permission and is not designed to upload your images to us.
Information the app processes
When you share JPEG images with the app (or open it from the launcher and pick images through the system), the app reads those images only to display previews, apply your compression settings, and write output files to storage you choose. Processing happens locally on your phone or tablet.
Depending on your settings, the app may copy or remove EXIF metadata in output files, and may optionally delete original shared files after successful compression. Those actions are under your control in the app.
Information stored on your device
The app saves preferences on your device using Android local storage, including for example:
Compression presets, quality, and related options
Output folder or album names you configure
A storage location you select through the system document picker (stored as a permission URI, not a copy of your files)
References to recently shared source images (content URIs) so the app can restore your last batch in the same session
Interface preferences such as theme color
This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the app, clear app data, or use Android’s backup features (see below).
What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect or receive:
Your name, email, or phone number through the app itself
Your photos on our servers
Precise location
Third parties
The app does not embed third-party analytics or advertising libraries. Google Play and your device manufacturer may process limited technical information when you download or update the app through the Play Store; that processing is governed by Google’s and your device’s policies, not this app’s code.
Android backup
Android may back up some app data if you have device backup enabled. Backup content and destination are controlled by Google and your device settings. We do not receive that backup directly.
Permissions
The app uses Android permissions only as needed for its features. For example, it may use vibration for short feedback when supported. Access to your images is obtained through the Android share flow and storage APIs you approve, not through broad hidden collection.
Children
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because processing is local and we do not hold your images on our systems, most “access” or “deletion” requests are fulfilled by you: remove output files in your gallery or files app, clear the app’s data in Android settings, or uninstall the app. If you are in the European Economic Area or another region with privacy laws, you may contact us (below) with questions about this policy.
Changes
We may update this page when the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
