Overview
ImageShift ("the App") is developed by Ruben Garcia Figueroa ("we", "us"). ImageShift is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains exactly what that means and what, if anything, leaves your device.
Data We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. ImageShift has no backend server, no user accounts, and no analytics SDK that sends data off your device.
Specifically: your photos, PDFs and videos are processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We do not require an account, email address, or sign-in of any kind to use the App. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
Data Stored On Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple's SwiftData framework: your conversion history (file names, formats, sizes, dates), used to populate the History tab; and your preferences (daily quota, streaks, achievements), stored via UserDefaults.
None of this data ever leaves your device. It is not backed up to our servers because we don't have any.
Permissions We Request, And Why
Photo Library access: to let you pick images to convert and save results back to your library. Required only when you use a conversion feature.
Camera access: only if you choose to capture a new photo or video for conversion inside the App.
Microphone access: only used if you record video with audio for conversion; never used otherwise.
You can review or revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings, Privacy and Security.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscription and purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple's own privacy policy governs that data: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Children's Privacy
ImageShift is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data at all.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. Any data related to your use of the App exists only on your own device; you can delete it at any time by deleting the App or clearing your History inside the App.
Changes to This Policy
If we change what data the App collects or how it's handled, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above, and reflect any material change in the App's release notes.
