We recently had the opportunity to attend the Tūrangawaewae Kairangahau Wānanga, an amazing event organised by IUE. The Wānanga focused on supporting Tangata Tiriti Kairangahau in engaging with Māori communities, with the goal of advancing Māori health through an equity-driven approach. It was an invaluable chance to connect with both the local community and fellow researchers, and to deepen our understanding of Te Ao Māori, Mātauranga Māori, and a kaupapa Māori approach.
Kā mihi nui IUE– we truly appreciate the mahi that went into making this event possible, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to attend.
