이미지 변환기는 사용자가 선택한 이미지의 변환·편집·다운로드를 Chrome 브라우저에서 처리합니다. 무료 1.1.3 버전에는 계정, 결제, AI 서비스, 분석 도구 또는 광고 추적기가 없습니다. 확장 프로그램은 이미지를 자체 서비스 서버에 업로드하거나 판매하지 않습니다.

로컬 파일과 편집기

사용자가 기기나 클립보드에서 추가한 이미지는 브라우저의 Canvas 기능으로 처리합니다. 변환 결과를 편집기로 보낼 때 선택한 파일이 브라우저의 IndexedDB에 일시적으로 저장될 수 있습니다. 편집기가 읽으면 삭제되며, 읽지 않은 전송 자료의 유효 기간은 5분입니다. 기한이 지난 자료는 다음 저장소 접근 시 정리됩니다.

선택적 웹페이지 접근

로컬 파일 변환에는 웹사이트 접근 권한이 필요하지 않습니다. 웹 이미지 우클릭 변환이나 ‘페이지 이미지 찾기·다운로드’를 사용하려는 경우 Chrome이 HTTP/HTTPS 사이트 접근을 요청합니다. 페이지 이미지 찾기에는 스크립트 실행 권한도 요청합니다. 허용 후 사용자가 이미지 찾기를 실행하면 확장 프로그램은 현재 탭의 페이지와 접근 가능한 프레임에서 이미지 요소, 이미지 후보 URL, 이미지의 이름·크기 등의 정보를 읽어 선택 목록을 만듭니다. 페이지 URL과 제목은 다운로드 작업 정보에 포함될 수 있습니다. 사용자가 켠 자동 새로고침은 사이드 패널이 보일 때만 실행됩니다.

선택한 웹 이미지는 원본 사이트에서 가져옵니다. 이 요청에는 사이트의 일반적인 네트워크 동작이 적용되며, 사이트가 요청을 차단할 수 있습니다. 가져온 이미지는 브라우저에서 변환하고 사용자의 다운로드 폴더에 저장합니다. 확장 프로그램의 서비스 서버에는 업로드하지 않습니다. 이 기능은 방문 기록을 분석하거나 다른 사이트를 자동으로 순회하지 않습니다. 웹사이트 접근 권한은 확장 프로그램 설정 또는 Chrome 확장 프로그램 설정에서 철회할 수 있습니다.

기기에 저장되는 정보

Chrome 동기화 저장소에는 출력 형식, 화질, 크기 조절과 같은 사용자 설정이 저장됩니다. Chrome이 동기화 기능을 제공하는 경우 이 설정은 같은 계정의 다른 기기와 동기화될 수 있습니다. 브라우저의 로컬·세션 저장소에는 페이지 다운로드 옵션과 임시 선택 상태가 저장됩니다.

다운로드를 일시정지·복구하기 위해 작업 기록과 필요한 이미지 자료를 브라우저의 IndexedDB에 임시 저장합니다. 최근 작업은 최대 5묶음까지 보관합니다. 종료된 작업 기록은 마지막 변경 후 24시간이 지나면 다음 정리 시 삭제됩니다. 대기·진행·일시정지 상태의 작업 기록은 이어서 처리할 수 있도록 유지되지만, 임시 이미지 자료는 저장 후 24시간이 지나면 다음 정리 시 삭제됩니다. 만료된 이미지가 필요한 경우 원본 사이트에서 다시 가져옵니다. 사용자는 ‘임시 작업 지우기’로 기록과 임시 이미지를 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다. 이미 내려받은 파일은 이 버튼으로 삭제되지 않습니다.

다운로드와 외부 전송

다운로드 권한은 사용자가 요청한 이미지 또는 ZIP 파일을 저장하는 데 사용합니다. 확장 프로그램은 원본 웹사이트에서 선택한 이미지를 가져오는 것 외에 이미지, 페이지 정보, 작업 기록을 자체 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 원격으로 호스팅된 실행 코드를 불러오지 않습니다.

삭제 후 선택적 설문

사용자가 확장 프로그램을 삭제하면 Chrome이 Google 설문지 페이지를 엽니다. 확장 프로그램은 고정된 웹 주소만 등록하며 사용자 ID, 이미지, 방문 기록, 페이지 URL 또는 설정을 주소에 덧붙이지 않습니다. 응답은 선택 사항입니다. 설문은 삭제 이유와 선택적 자유 의견을 묻고, 이메일 주소를 요청하거나 Google 로그인을 요구하지 않습니다. 자유 의견에 개인 정보나 민감한 정보를 적지 마세요.

제출한 응답은 개발자의 Google 설문지 계정에 저장되며 제품 문제를 파악하고 개선하는 데 사용됩니다. 응답은 개발자가 삭제할 때까지 보관됩니다. Google은 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 설문 방문 및 제출 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다. 확장 프로그램은 삭제 후 설문 응답을 받지 않습니다.

변경

기능이나 데이터 처리 방식이 바뀌면 이 문서를 갱신합니다. 최신 공개 개인정보처리방침은 Chrome 웹 스토어 등록 페이지에 연결됩니다.

제한적 사용과 문의

이미지와 페이지 정보는 사용자가 요청한 이미지 도구 제공에만 사용합니다. 판매하거나 광고·신용도 평가·대출 목적으로 사용하지 않으며, 개발자가 확장 프로그램을 통해 열람하지 않습니다. 확장 프로그램은 제한적 사용 요건을 포함한 Chrome 웹 스토어 사용자 데이터 정책을 따릅니다. 현재 페이지의 URL과 제목은 사용자가 실행한 찾기와 그 임시 선택 상태를 위해 로컬로 처리하며 다른 페이지의 방문 이력을 만들지 않습니다.

Image Converter Privacy Policy — Version 1.1.3

Image Converter converts, edits, and downloads images selected by the user in Chrome. The free 1.1.3 release has no account, payment, AI service, analytics, or advertising tracker. The extension does not upload images to its own service server or sell them.

Local files and editor

Images added from the user's device or clipboard are processed with browser Canvas APIs. When a converted result is opened in the editor, the selected file may be held temporarily in the browser's IndexedDB. It is deleted when the editor reads it. An unread transfer expires after five minutes and is cleaned up on the next storage access.

Optional webpage access

Converting local files does not require website access. Chrome requests HTTP/HTTPS site access when the user enables webpage image conversion or Find & download page images. The page finder also requests scripting permission. Once permission is granted and the user starts a scan, the extension reads image elements, candidate image URLs, and details such as names and dimensions from the current tab and accessible frames to build a selection list. The page URL and title may be included in a download job record. Auto-refresh runs only when the user enables it and the side panel is visible.

Selected webpage images are fetched from their source websites. Those requests follow normal website network behavior, and a site may block them. The images are converted in the browser and saved to the user's downloads. They are not uploaded to the extension's service server. The feature does not analyze browsing history or automatically crawl other websites. Website access can be revoked in the extension settings or Chrome extension settings.

Information stored on the device

Chrome sync storage holds preferences such as output format, quality, and resize settings. If Chrome sync is enabled, these preferences may sync to the user's other devices. Browser local and session storage holds page-download options and a temporary selection draft.

To pause and recover downloads, job records and needed image data are temporarily stored in browser IndexedDB. Up to five recent jobs are kept. Finished job records are removed during the next cleanup once 24 hours have passed since their last update. Queued, running, and paused job records are retained so work can continue, but temporary image data expires 24 hours after it is stored and is removed during the next cleanup. Images are fetched again from their source websites when expired data is needed. The user can delete records and temporary images with Clear temporary jobs. This does not delete files already downloaded.

Downloads and transfers

The downloads permission saves images or ZIP files the user requests. Apart from fetching selected images from their source websites, the extension does not send images, page information, or job records to its own server. It does not load remotely hosted executable code.

Optional feedback after uninstall

When the user uninstalls the extension, Chrome opens a Google Forms survey page. The extension only registers this fixed web address; it does not append a user ID, image, browsing history, page URL, or settings. Answering the survey is optional. The form asks for a reason and offers an optional free-text comment. It does not request an email address or require Google sign-in. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in the comment.

Submitted answers are stored in Google Forms under the developer's account and used to identify and improve product problems. They are kept until the developer deletes them. Google may process visits and submissions under its own privacy policy. The extension receives no survey answers after it is removed.

Changes

This policy is updated when features or data handling change. The latest published policy is linked from the Chrome Web Store listing.

Limited use and support

Image and page information is used only to provide the image tools requested by the user. It is not sold, used for advertising, used for creditworthiness or lending, or viewed by the developer through the extension. The extension follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The current page URL and title are processed only for scans the user starts and their temporary local draft; this does not create a history of other visited pages.
