Effective date: 23 June 2026 Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Image to PDF – PDF Maker ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it. The App is developed and maintained by Md. Nasar Uddin Redoy ("the Developer").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Image to PDF – PDF Maker is designed to be private by default:
All of your photos, scans, and PDF files are processed entirely on your device.
We do not require an account, sign-up, email, or login to use the App.
We do not upload, copy, store, sell, or share your documents, photos, or their contents on any server.
We do not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not use device advertising identifiers (IDFA) for tracking.
The only data processed outside your device is the limited information required to handle in-app purchases and subscriptions, as described in Section 4.
Photos and Images. When you choose to convert images into a PDF, the App accesses only the specific photos you select through Apple's standard photo picker. These images are processed locally on your device to create a PDF. They are never transmitted to us or any third party.
Camera (Document Scanning). If you use the scan feature, the App uses your device camera to capture documents. Captured images are processed on your device only and are never uploaded.
Files You Create. PDF files you create are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud/Files storage controlled by Apple). We have no access to these files.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or browsing activity through the App. (Your contact with us by email — see Section 9 — is initiated voluntarily by you.)
Permission
Why it is used
Photo Library
To let you select images you want to convert into a PDF. We access only the photos you choose.
Camera
To scan physical documents using your device camera.
You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. The App will continue to function for any features that do not require the revoked permission.
The App offers optional paid features (Pro) through in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your payment card details.
To manage purchases, restore entitlements, and verify subscription status, the App uses RevenueCat, Inc., a third-party subscription-management service. For this purpose, RevenueCat may process limited information such as a randomly generated app user identifier, your purchase and subscription history, device and operating-system information, country/region, and IP address. This data is used solely to deliver and maintain your purchase entitlements and is not used to advertise to you.
RevenueCat Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple Media Services / App Store privacy is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Information is used only to:
Convert your selected images and scans into PDF files on your device;
Provide and maintain the App's features;
Process, validate, and restore in-app purchases and subscriptions;
Diagnose technical issues and maintain the security and reliability of the App.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to operate the App's paid features — namely Apple (payment processing) and RevenueCat (subscription management) — and only as described in Section 4. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process.
Your photos, scans, and PDFs remain on your device and are retained until you delete them. We never receive copies.
Purchase and subscription records held by RevenueCat and Apple are retained according to their respective policies and applicable law.
Because your documents are processed and stored on your own device, they are protected by your device's built-in security (such as your passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID). For data handled by Apple and RevenueCat in connection with purchases, those providers apply their own industry-standard security measures. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited data involved.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since the App does not maintain personal accounts or store your content on our servers, most data is under your direct control on your device. For requests relating to purchase data, contact us at the address below and we will assist, including by coordinating with our service providers where applicable.
The App may reference Apple and RevenueCat services as described above. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted at this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact:
