Image Resizer is a free app for resizing and compressing photos on Android. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
In short: the app does not collect, store or share any of your personal data, and your photos never leave your device.
None. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not have permission to use the internet, so it cannot send anything off your device.
The app can only see the photos you choose in Android's photo picker or share to it from another app.
All resizing and compression happens on your device.
Processed copies are kept temporarily in the app's private storage until you start a new batch or clear your selection. Android may also remove them at any time.
Photos are only saved to your gallery (Pictures/Image Resizer) or shared with other apps when you tap Save or Share.
By default, the app removes location, camera and date information from processed photos. If you turn this option off, that information is copied into the new files on your device. Either way, it is never sent to us.
Your last-used settings (such as size and quality) are stored on your device so the app opens the way you left it. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app does not request any special permissions. Its access to your photos is limited to the ones you pick.
We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any. The app is distributed through Google Play, and Google may collect information about app installs and crashes under its own privacy policy.
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
