The mission of the University
The University shall primarily provide leading-edge degree programs, innovative professional, entrepreneurial, and technical instruction as well as research and extension programs that address both the needs of the region and the nation in the context of the global knowledge economy, Fourth Industrial Revolution, and sustainability.
Goals of the University
Goal By the end of 2024, CTU will be globally recognized for its quality. Specifically, it will: • Obtain a Philippine university system status with a CHED SUC Level V recognition or equivalent; • Be ranked among the Top 10 Universities in the Philippines; • Be included in the list of internationally recognized ranking of universities (including Quacquarelli Symonds, Times Higher Education, Shanghai University Ranking, World University Impact Rankings); • Pursue efforts to pave way for the development of new programs (including natural sciences and Doctor of Medicine) and Transnational Higher Education; • Achieve world-class performance and excellence in total quality management; and • Lead innovations in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Program Outcomes
The minimum standards for the BSMX program are expressed in the following set of learning outcomes:
A. Common to all Programs
The graduates have the ability to:
PO1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice
PO2. Communicate effectively through oral and in written forms using both English and Filipino
PO3. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
PO4. Act in recognition of professional, social and ethical responsibilities
PO5. Preserve and promise “Filipino Historical and Cultural Heritage” (based on RA 7722)
B. Common to Technology Education
PO6. Production of technological research toward innovation and advancement.
PO7. Engagement in technology-based community extension programs and activities.
C. Specific to a sub-discipline or major (Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Technology BSMx)
PO8 Ability to solve mathematical problems required of the mechatronics trade and ability to apply science in design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data, and advance proposals or recommendations to solve problems met;
PO9 Ability to perform metrology & benchwork, machining, electrical & electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, Programmable Logic Controller, motor controllers, microcontrollers, instrumentation, robotics & software programming, and other related operations and practices;
PO10 Understanding of mechatronics technology solutions to the problems encountered in the industry and capacity to utilize acquired techniques, knowledge, attitude, skills, habits, and competencies as tools for the operations and practices, acquiring mastery of mechatronics management concepts and skills and its application to industrial movement and dynamism; and
PO11 Prudence in the observance of safety and healthy practices in the delivery of industrial technology products and services.

After completing this, course, the student must be able to:
Discuss theories and practices in personnel administration PO1, PO2.
Demonstrate critical analysis of personnel administration through reflection of theories, concepts and challenge to enhance work environment in the graphics and design industry workplace and (PO11)
Practice professionalism in every undertaking by reflecting on the theories, concepts, and challenges of personnel administration to improve relations and growth in the field of mechatronics and the graphics and design industry. (PO9, PO10, PO11)
