This year my CT and I created this project on the go and it turned out beautifully. We started with our POLs and kept hearing repeatedly how much our students wanted to work hands on with food. Thus our idea of real world recipe books with factual history and representation was born. Here our students were able to work on their academics, creative artwork, and cooking skills all in a few short weeks. This project was beautiful in seeing the culmination of all respective cultures being researched and brought to life. All 47 of our students made food to sell along with copies of their research and actual recipes that they used. We ended up selling to about 120 people during our exhibition!
