A Note About Schedules
Pre-K: Pre-K students receive library lessons within their classroom. This is called push-in support. Early literacy skills are taught and exposure to various genres occur.
Kinder-2nd grade: students receive library lessons in the library ONCE a week. Kinder littles will practice check-out/check-ins by keeping their books in the classroom.
1st and up are allowed to take books home.
3rd-5th: students are on a rotating bi-weekly schedule.
6th-8th: students are on a 1X month schedule for lessons, but will be checking out books during the "open lessons" time once they receive their library orientation with their ELA teacher.
*Any teacher may sign up in an empty slot for special projects or enrichment lessons*
