About the Show
I Love Italy is a monthly Italian-language magazine show broadcast on shortwave, on frequencies 7730 and 15770 kHz. The program runs for 15 minutes and is a spoken talk show, where we explore major events in news, culture, and society — both current and especially from the past. It is usually a “spoken only” broadcast, but occasionally a song may be included in the schedule. In our radio lounge we also talk about cinema, theater, and music — all strictly in Italian Style. The show is kindly hosted by WRMI – Radio Miami International, a historic shortwave radio network, audible worldwide on shortwave. Thanks to its powerful transmitters and antennas located in Okeechobee, Florida (USA), WRMI reaches listeners across the globe. The audio content is produced in the host’s home studio in the Oltrepò Pavese, nicknamed Studio Pirata Oltrepò. For live shows and podcasts, the automation software MB STUDIO is used. For post-production (jingles, spots, podcast editing, and more), the audio editor Audacity is employed.
