1. meet, warm-up, get input on services or on design and prototyping, maybe ideate around needs or future trends

2. sign up individual Jammers on the Global Platform, watch the Secret Theme Video

3. ideate all together around the theme. what can we be building?

4. form teams around the most interesting ideas. have a good mixture of skills (students, subject expert, designer etc.)

1. perhaps build some pre-prototypes? finish sign ups and teams forming on Planet Jam, start uploading.

2. street and desk research based on those ideas/concepts/pre-prototypes (you can't research the whole world). upload your research insights. maybe remix teams.

3. based on the research, adjust your concepts and start the first rough prototypes

4. iterate! keep building improved or re-thought prototypes, getting feedback and testing prototypes. document and upload as you go.

2. when you reach the end of the jam, document, upload and share your latest prototypes. don't spend too much time on preparing the presentation. the prototype is more important.

3. after the upload deadline, share locally by showing your final prototype. celebrate!

Notes:

• the basic activity is prototyping. we are prototyping from very early in the Jam. certainly by day 2 lunchtime. we go through multiple iterations of the prototype until day 3

• start uploading day 2 morning and keep uploading all weekend.

• don't waste time on a fancy presentation or film, just show and document the prototype.
