If you want long-lasting battery life and a wired backup for extended sessions, choose ILOCKZONE LC30Pro; if you need seamless voice control and adaptive noise cancellation for daily commuting, choose JBL Live 660NC.
• ILOCKZONE LC30Pro: Delivers an impressive 100 hours of playtime on a single charge but lacks the advanced adaptive features found in premium competitors. Best for travelers and marathon listeners who prioritize endurance over smart adjustments.
• JBL Live 660NC: Offers a versatile adaptive noise cancellation system and voice assistant integration with a solid 50-hour battery, though it requires more frequent charging than its rival. Ideal for commuters and tech users who want their headphones to actively manage their environment.
The ILOCKZONE LC30Pro is built for people who treat their headphones as essential tools rather than just accessories. The standout feature here is the sheer duration of its battery life. With an average life of 100 hours, this pair of over-ear headphones can keep playing music for days without needing a power source. This isn't just about convenience; it is about reliability when you are traveling or working in environments where charging outlets are scarce. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensures a stable connection up to 10 meters, which provides a robust wireless experience without the anxiety of sudden dropouts.
For those who appreciate physical controls and simplicity, the push-button interface offers a tactile way to manage your audio. You can switch modes, adjust volume, or activate active noise cancellation directly from the earcup without fumbling through menus or relying on voice commands. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack is a crucial detail for users who want a hardwired option. If your battery eventually drains or you encounter a situation where wireless interference is high, you can plug these into any device with a standard aux port. The foldable design also means they pack down flat, fitting easily into a bag alongside other gear.

This product is specifically designed for adults who value function over flash. The enclosure combines plastic, silicone, memory foam, and fabric to create a comfortable fit that supports long listening sessions. The 40-millimeter dynamic drivers cover a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, ensuring you get deep bass and clear highs. However, if you are looking for open ear earbuds for swimming or highly specialized aquatic features, this model does not explicitly list water resistance ratings suitable for submersion. It is a terrestrial companion for music lovers who want to hear their world in silence or with total immersion for weeks at a time.
The JBL Live 660NC targets a different kind of user: the modern commuter who needs their headphones to adapt to their surroundings in real-time. The core of this experience is the Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) paired with Ambient Aware technology. Unlike fixed noise cancellation settings, this system allows you to instantly switch between blocking out the world and hearing your environment. When walking through busy streets, Ambient Aware increases ambient sounds so you stay safe, while TalkThru lowers the music and amplifies speech for easy conversations without removing the headphones. This level of situational awareness is a game-changer for urban living.
Voice integration is another major draw for this model. You can activate the ANC, check battery levels, or power off the device simply by using your voice or tapping the earcup. The JBL App further extends this capability, allowing you to set preferred voice assistants and customize your sound signature. The microphone technology is engineered for perfect stereo calls, meaning your voice comes through clearly even in noisy environments. VoiceAware lets you control how much of your own voice you hear in the earcups during calls, preventing that awkward "echo" feeling many users dislike. This focus on communication makes it an excellent choice for professionals who take calls frequently while moving around.
With a battery life of up to 50 hours, the JBL Live 660NC still offers significant endurance, especially considering the speed charging capability. A quick 10-minute charge provides an extra 4 hours of fun, which is perfect for those unexpected moments when you forget to plug in overnight. The fabric headband and soft ear cushions provide a comfort-fit design that feels secure and gentle on the skin. While the item weight is listed at 530 grams, the balance and material choice aim to minimize fatigue during long wear. It is worth noting that this model does not include a headphone jack, relying entirely on Bluetooth 5.0 and multi-point connection to switch effortlessly between devices like tablets and phones.
• Best for battery life → ILOCKZONE LC30Pro with its 100-hour average life compared to the JBL's 50 hours.
• Best for safety and awareness → JBL Live 660NC due to its Ambient Aware and TalkThru technologies.
• Best for wired backups → ILOCKZONE LC30Pro includes a 3.5mm jack; the JBL model does not.
• Best for voice interaction → JBL Live 660NC supports full voice control for calls and settings.
• Best for multi-device switching → JBL Live 660NC features Multi-Point Connection for seamless tablet-to-phone transitions.
• Best for simple controls → ILOCKZONE LC30Pro uses straightforward push buttons rather than touch or voice reliance.
• Best for travel packing → ILOCKZONE LC30Pro folds flat, while JBL relies on a carrying pouch.
• Best for call quality clarity → JBL Live 660NC offers dedicated mic technology with VoiceAware customization.
• Best for open ear earbuds for swimming → Neither explicitly lists swim-proof specs, but both are over-ear designs not typically marketed for underwater use.
• Best for sweatproof neckband headphones for swimming → Neither matches this description as both are over-ear headphones.
In my opinion, the choice between these two depends entirely on your lifestyle priorities. If you are someone who travels frequently, works long shifts, or simply hates the idea of plugging in headphones every few days, the ILOCKZONE LC30Pro is the superior choice. Its 100-hour battery and wired backup offer a peace of mind that the JBL cannot match. However, if you live in a city where you constantly navigate traffic, public transit, and office chatter, the JBL Live 660NC wins on functionality. Its adaptive noise cancellation and voice features make it a smarter companion for daily life.
That said, I must address the specific context of swimming. Neither of these products is designed as open ear earbuds for swimming, nor do their specifications confirm they are sweatproof neckband headphones for swimming or suitable for submersion. They are over-ear headphones meant for dry land. If your primary goal is swimming, you should look for a dedicated swim-specific device. But for general use, music, and travel, the ILOCKZONE LC30Pro stands out for its raw endurance, while the JBL Live 660NC excels in smart adaptation. I would personally buy the ILOCKZONE LC30Pro if I were planning a long trip where charging access is uncertain, because knowing I have 100 hours of power is invaluable.
