The Butterfly Lovers - Sheng Concerto

A symphonic reimagining of the original (The) Butterfly Lovers by Ho Zhan-Hao & Cheh Kang (何占豪陈鋼 <<梁祝>> 笙協奏曲), featuring Sheng Maestro Michael Lee (李志群).

Recorded live during the final rehearsal ahead of his “Sensual & Romantic – Sheng Concert” at the Singapore Conference Hall in 2018, this performance blends traditional Chinese sonorities with full orchestral expression to honour one of the most enduring love stories in classical music.
