The Illinois Bred Program gives Illinois show pig breeders the opportunity to support and invest in youth exhibitors participating in the junior swine show at the Illinois State Fair.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
Starting in April, Illinois breeders can officially enroll in our program by completing an enrollment form and paying the enrollment fee. When the Illinois State Fair arrives, exhibitors should visit our booth during check-in days to fill out a card for each crossbred or purebred pig from from an enrolled breeder. Our team will then match these cards to entries in the official show order. On show day, our ring help will track the classes and present "Illinois Bred" sheets to the 1st and 2nd place winners. If you or your exhibitor receives a sheet, bring it to our booth to collect your prizes and take a photo at our backdrop!
