Our Studio

The Illawarra Vocal Academy is a vocal studio located in Warilla, NSW. We offer lessons to cater for all ages and experience levels. We pride ourselves on being up to date on the latest teaching techniques from around the world which we pass on to our students and trainee teachers. We believe in a collaborative approach to learning; Our principal teacher Jess is always available to give feedback and advice for students of the other teachers as well as provide opportunities in the school holidays to receive further feedback and guidance. 

Teaching Style

The Illawarra Vocal Academy does not believe in following a set 'methodology'. We train across multiple disciplines and keep up to date on the latest scientific research to update our knowledge. You can expect to use your whole body in your lessons to learn how to engage and release muscles to ensure you can sing consistently without causing any injuries. We believe vocalists are athletes and need to train as such.
