What began as a college pastime for Tye Rothberg soon evolved into a passion for building platforms for local talent. In his sophomore year at the University of Central Florida, Tye found success throwing parties in Orlando, but quickly realized there was more to music than just hitting play on a Spotify playlist. The energy of a live performance, where artists could connect with a crowd, ignited his drive to create experiences centered around music.

After hosting a series of successful house parties, Tye's vision for something greater started to take shape. In August 2022, he and his roommates moved into a house that presented a unique opportunity: a blank canvas to transform into a venue space. They tested the idea with an album release party, and as more shows followed, it became clear they were onto something special - an elevated house party experience.

One year later, ILL Advised Entertainment made its official debut with a groundbreaking event: HouseFest. This multi-genre music festival, set entirely within the walls of a suburban home, featured 30 artists on 3 stages over the course of one unforgettable day. The event sold out, earning rave reviews from attendees and further cementing the ILL Advised vision. Two follow-up events, WinterFest and FinalFest, along with numerous one-off backyard shows, solidified ILL Advised as a key player in Orlando’s underground music scene.

Since its inception, ILL Advised Entertainment has worked with some of the city’s most dynamic local artists, including Disputer, Mirror Parts, Memory Well, Mitch$$$, Inqu, sum.simpl, and Just Imagin3, building a reputation for curating buzzworthy events that amplify Orlando’s homegrown talent.

Today, ILL Advised Entertainment has outgrown its DIY house venue roots and now curates shows in some of Orlando's most vibrant venues, including Stardust Video and Coffee, My Sister's House, and the Conduit. Our mission remains the same: to create unique, immersive live music experiences that leave attendees with a renewed sense of pride in their local music community.

We can't wait to welcome you to our next show and continue growing Orlando’s music scene - one unforgettable event at a time.
