In July, I joined the University of Milan-Bicocca as a tenure-track researcher (RTT). Prior to this, I was an RTDa at Politecnico di Torino from September 2025 to June 2026, following a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship in the algebra and number theory group at the Mathematical Institute of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from the University of Bari (Italy).
In 2012, I was awarded a doctoral fellowship by the "Regione Puglia" to join the PhD program at the University of Bari, during which I developed my PhD thesis under the supervision of Thomas Weigel (University of Milano-Bicocca).
After completing my PhD in 2015, I moved to the University of Udine to collaborate with Anna Giordano Bruno on the entropy of topological and algebraic structures. In October 2016, I accepted a two-year research fellowship with Peter Kropholler at the University of Southampton (UK), working on a project focused on the cohomology of groups. Following my time in Southampton, I returned to Udine for a six-month research fellowship before rejoining the algebra group at the University of Milano-Bicocca for three years in June 2019. Most recently, in October 2022, I began a two-year postdoctoral position at Bielefeld University as a member of the research groups led by Kai-Uwe Bux and Christopher Voll
