Dr. Reylla Santos is a licensed professional counselor in Illinois with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families affected by addiction. Drawing on both personal and professional experiences, Dr. Santos has developed a deep passion for creating a world where people living with addiction are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Her work focuses on breaking down the stigma that often isolates individuals struggling with addiction, helping them feel seen, valued, and understood. Through counseling, advocacy, and community engagement, Dr. Santos strives to build meaningful connections and foster environments where healing and recovery can thrive.
David is a person in long-term recovery from addiction.He specializes in treating adolescents and young adults with addiction and mental health. He strongly believes in the capacity of individuals to heal and maintain lasting wellness. Trauma informed care is at the forefront of his methodology and he regularly holds space with those navigating their path to wholeness. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of Thrive Center for Wellness where he and the staff help to facilitate healing.
Thomas is a PhD student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University in Chicago and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a CADC in progress. His work focuses on recovery-informed clinical supervision, with particular attention to the experiences of counselors in recovery and the intersection of professional counseling and peer-based support models such as 12-step sponsorship. He is the developer of the Recovery Informed Discrimination Model (RIDM), which integrates trauma-informed care, peer mentorship, and identity-affirming practices into counselor supervision. Thomas is dedicated to reducing stigma, promoting culturally responsive training, and advancing inclusive, strengths-based models of counselor development.
Sabrina is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with two years of experience working in inpatient rehabilitation settings. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
Grounded in a client-centered approach, Sabrina believes deeply in the principles of harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Her clinical work is guided by empathy, respect, and a commitment to meeting clients where they are in their recovery journeys. Sabrina is passionate about helping clients build meaningful lives in recovery, and she brings both professional expertise and genuine care to every therapeutic relationship.
