Working Experience

I joined Center for Information Biology at National Institute of Genetics from 2012-2015 as a postdoctoral fellow and  as a project researcher at Research Center for Statistical Machine Learning at The Institute of Statistical Mathematics in Tokyo in 2015. From Dec. 2015 to Jan. 2020,  I was an assistant professor at department of informatics, Faculty of Engineering in Yamagata University.  Since Feb. 2020, I am working as an associate professor in Nagasaki University.

Educational Background

I received a B.S. degree from University of Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan, in 2002, and both M.Eng. degree and Ph.D from Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Nara, Japan, in 2006, 2012.  From 2000 to 2001, I was an exchange student at The University of Manchester, The school of Biological Science, and in 2007, The University of Minnesota, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
