The Olympic sport of fencing is a high-paced, energetic and mentally stimulating sport that has gained great popularity since the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This past summer the USA brought home a RECORD NUMBER OF MEDALS from the Paris Olympics! Come and give it a try during this session! No fencing gear necessary, we will use foam trainers to learn all of the actions and have some epic duels! Once beginning fencers become familiar with the basics, we now have some REAL Olympic fencing equipment to use!

Eisenhower Spring Track 2026
Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays: April 7th-May 28th
rain or shine
Location: Eisenhower Intermediate School Field
Time: 3:45 pm – 5 pm (participants stay after school)
Fees: 1day/wk $150, 2days/wk $250, 3days/wk $340,
*please note this fee includes ALL 8 weeks plus the meets against Hillside.

This after school activity will focus on developing speed, strength and agility using training runs, drills, mental preparation and games. Students will learn about nutrition, hydration, and stretching techniques to stay healthy and injury free! Students will also have the opportunity to test their skills in track meets against Hillside school, as well as a Skyland Conference meet against other running clubs. Skills introduced include: 100,200,400 & 800 meter, long jump, hurdles, shot put throw and team relays. This program will increase student’s speed and agility to be ready for any sport. They are required to wear sneakers, active or loose fitting clothing as well as bring water. Use the qr code below to register or, go to our IKE enrichment website for the registration link.
