Ignacio J. Núñez

Welcome to my website!

I received my PhD in economics at The University of Texas at Austin in 2022.     In 2023 I joined Charles River Associates (CRA) where I am Senior Associate in the Antitrust and Competition Practice in Boston.

During my PhD studies my primary field was industrial organization. My past projects relate to the empirical study of simultaneous auctions, the residential demand for heating and its effects on air pollution, and optimal pricing in electricity markets

At CRA I specialize in merger and litigation cases. My past projects relate to technology (digital advertising), insurance, and healthcare industries, designing structural models such as merger simulation models in two-sided markets and Nash bargaining models; and causal inference analysis with experimental and quasi-experimental data.
