If you bought a new printer or trying to reinstall your old printer, IJ.Start.Canon is the website and place from where you can download your printer driver. Make sure that you download the correct driver for your printer model.
Remove your printer from the box and connect it to the power source
After switching ON your printer, check that the Wi-Fi light is blinking (for all wireless printers).
Go to IJ.Start.Canon and select your correct printer model and operating system to download the appropriate printer driver.
Alternatively, you can also use CD which comes along with the printer to start Canon IJ Setup Printer Setup.
Run the downloaded Canon IJ Setup file and follow the instructions on your screen.
Choose your connection method — USB or Wireless.
Run the Canon printer driver's downloaded file and follow the instructions on your screen.
Next, open IJ.Start.Canon Utility on your computer.
Run the setup and follow the on screen instructions to finish the setup.
Lastly, upon completion of setup, your printer will be connected to your WiFi network and will be ready for use.
Make sure your printer is turned ON.
Connect your USB cable to your printer and computer.
Open Windows menu and type In Control Panel in the search box.
Go to "Devices and Printers" and click on "Add a Printer" option.
Selected your Canon printer from the list.
Upon completion of setup, your printer will show in "Devices and Printers" section with a Green check mark.
Click on Apple logo from top left and select on "System Preference".
Go to "Printers & Scanners" and select your Canon printer from the list.
Lastly, click on + sign to add your printer.
Try printing a test page to confirm that your printer is ready for use.
You can modify your printing options from the print page settings option.
