We are a young experimental research group at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras focused on understanding the properties of defects in solid-state materials and developing spin-based quantum technologies using these defects. Our work involves designing powerful quantum sensors, single-photon sources, quantum registers, and novel sensing techniques for probing exotic physics in condensed matter systems. We also delve into the fabrication of nanostructures for efficient quantum devices, understanding spin dynamics and tailoring electromagnetic pulse sequences to suppress decoherence. Our research lies at the intersection of quantum optics, quantum control, quantum information, microwave engineering, cryogenics, and magnetic resonance techniques.
