(From 2020)
I completed my master's degree in Physics from IIT Kharagpur, where I worked on theoretical quantum turbulence. Being amused by the prospect of using quantum mechanics to give an edge to existing technologies, I chose to pursue a PhD in quantum optics and information. I have a knack for theoretical and experimental physics, and I hope to bring the two together for my research. I'm interested in developing single and entangled photon sources with applications in quantum technologies for my PhD project. Also, my research focuses on using quantum emitters in 2D and other solid-state materials as photonic sources.
