India’s Role in Space Science: Exploring Regional Growth Opportunities via Industry-Academia Participation.

Extraterrestrial Space captures the curiosity and imagination of Indian students and citizens alike. To celebrate this growing interest, the Department of Space, Planetary & Astronomical Sciences & Engineering (SPASE) at IIT Kanpur is hosting an event on August 24, 2024, to commemorate National Space Day. This event will delve into the current and future landscape of the Indian space program, featuring expert discussions and exciting astronomy outreach activities. This year’s Space Day is especially significant as it marks the first anniversary of Chandrayaan 3’s successful Moon landing. We look forward to your participation in celebrating India’s achievements in space and discussing its future prospects.
