Hello! I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Previously, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, India.

I graduated with a joint Ph.D. program between the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), India, and Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, under the guidence of Dr K.P. Prabheesh (IIT-Hyderabad) Professor Abbas Valadkhani (Swinburne).

My research focuses on macroeconomics, macroprudential policy, systemic risk, the banking sector, and the open economy, Time series & Panel data.

I have published papers in journals such as Economic Analysis and Policy, MethodsX, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Energy Research Letters, and the Asian Development Bank Institute.

I am looking for motivated PhD candidates, particularly in the areas of Open-economy Macroeconomics and International Finance, Green Finance, Climate Finance, Macroprudential policy, and ML in Economics and Finance.
