Having chosen to go to the burnt building to prevent Atharva's disappearance, Yash was assigned a team of three members to accompany him. On the night of April 24th, Yash and his team positioned themselves at the burnt building, waiting for Atharva to appear.
At midnight, Yash spotted three individuals approaching the burnt building, carrying a heavy sack. Confused and wary, Yash wondered, “Who are these people, and what are they doing here?” Taking action, Yash and his team ambushed the newcomers. In the midst of the scuffle, Yash discovered that these men were members of the Protectors team.
After subduing them, Yash's team restrained the men. At that moment, a muffled voice emanated from the sack. Upon opening it, Yash was shocked to find Atharva inside. Questioning the Protectors, Yash demanded to know why Atharva was with them. One of the Protectors confessed that they were responsible for the disappearances at IITGN, claiming it was for a greater good. According to him, the missing individuals were sacrificed to appease a dark spirit, averting an impending doomsday. He warned Yash that failing to make these sacrifices would unleash the doomsday, which could not be prevented.
Confronted with this revelation, Yash faced a moral dilemma:
