The Cost of Victory.

As the pivotal moment approached, Yash's mind raced with a plan. He cunningly gave the wrong location for the sacrifice and planted fake clues to mislead the Explorer team. With his deception in place, the sacrifice was carried out without a hitch. Doomday was delayed, at least for another year.

As the dust settled, Yash found himself being promoted within the Protectors club for his clever strategy. The leader of the Protectors approached him, a glint of admiration in his eyes.

"You've proven yourself to be a valuable asset to our cause," the leader said, clapping Yash on the back. "Your quick thinking saved us all. You'll be a great addition to our leadership team."

Yash smiled, but his victory was bittersweet. He knew that his actions had saved the campus, but at a cost. As he looked out at the ruins of the sacrifice site, he couldn't help but wonder if there had been another way.
