protectors.wavDhruv welcomed Yash and introduced him to the other team members.
“We are the protectors of IITGN, and we protect everyone from the dark lord. Even if it means sacrificing the lives of the people of the institute”, said Dhruv as he started the team orientation. Yash was petrified. What had he gotten himself into? This seemed like more of a murder club than a ghostbuster club.
“We work for a noble cause that no one can know about. Not even the Explorers. Especially not the Explorers. If we stop sacrificing these people, the dark lord’s powers will reach their peak, and it will be doomsday for IITGN. We have to keep this legacy going before the Explorers can stop us.”
Dhruv stated that the belief of the Explorers team that it was possible to defeat the dark spirit was unfounded, leading to the division of the Ghostbusters club into two factions years ago, the Protectors and the Explorers.
Overwhelmed by this information, Yash was filled with terror. Dhruv then suggested that Yash watch a video that would provide a clearer understanding of their mission.

Yash now had a clearer understanding of how the Protector Ghostbusters operated. "It's time to begin our first mission," Dhruv declared. "The dark lord has chosen Atharva from the third year of BTech as his next target, and we need to make the sacrifice before the midnight of the new moon day. That is the 25th of April." Yash had known Atharva since childhood and understood that this spelled trouble. However, Yash was also swayed by the dark lord's powers.
He was tasked with escorting Atharva to the location of the sacrifice. Yash struggled to decide whether to save his friend or proceed with the sacrifice.
