The Students' Seminar provides a forum for mathematical interaction among the young mathematicians in our department. The talks in the Students' Seminar will be given by the students for the students: no faculty will be in attendance. All the seminars are expected to be blackboard talks.
The goal is to provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, where:
the speaker feels comfortable speaking and practicing their presentation skills.
the audience feels no pressure in asking questions and interacting with the speaker.
